Don’t use the rebuild data utility

I have been visiting second time to this community, at the time of first time-as per the recommendation of community board member, I used the rebuild data utility and it has erased my transaction history. Now what should I do? I need to enter my hundreds of invoices again in order to correct the problem or it will automatically restore?  Confused!

Hey Dianna,

Don’t worry it is my recommendation that just pick up your phone and call our QuickBooks support team at our toll free number 1888-346-0234. They will restore the backup before you use the utility. After that you can make portable file with that data file. Portable files will help you in putting the things in logical order then you can restore that as your working file.
